At Dive Easy, our PADI® Discover Scuba Diving course is designed for those eager to experience the excitement and adventure of scuba diving in a comfortable, highly supervised setting.
Our experienced instructors, Russel and Rose, are by your side every step of the way, holding your hand through the entire experience to ensure you feel supported and confident.
The course is designed with a maximum of four students per instructor, and when it is time for the ocean dive, you will enjoy one-on-one instruction to make the experience uniquely yours.
This adventure offers you the chance to discover freedom and serenity in a new way. Nothing compares to the “weightless” exhilaration of breathing underwater—only a diver knows the feeling!
We introduce scuba diving in a highly relaxed and immersive manner. Underwater, you become aware of each intake of breath and how your movements flow in rhythm with your breathing. This sensory experience
is intensified by the sights and sounds of the underwater world around you, and we capture this unforgettable moment with a few underwater photos and videos to relive your adventure.

We prioritize individual or family-only instruction, so you will not have to worry about other students or unfamiliar divers joining your session.Safe and Relaxed Environment:
We’ll start in a swimming pool or shallow, calm waters with pool-like conditions where you can take your time adjusting to breathing underwater and using scuba equipment.Building Confidence:
Our approach focuses on comfort and confidence, allowing you to proceed at your own pace. Whether youre taking your first breath underwater or mastering basic diving skills, Rose and Russel, our patient and supportive instructors are here to encourage and guide you.No Pressure of Large Groups:
With no outside participants, you will have a truly personalized experience, free from the pace or needs of strangers.
Once you have filled in the relevant forms, Russel and Rose will conduct a short theory session with you.
During this theory session, you will learn about the basics of diving, including the physics and physiology of diving,
the underwater environment, communication, and the equipment you will be using.
If you complete the DSD eLearning beforehand, then this session is more of a quick review.
As PADI® Professionals, Russel and Rose will fit you with scuba gear and explain how to use it.
In a pool or calm pool-like conditions, you’ll practice some basic diving skills.
At a minimum,
you will learn how to breathe underwater properly and how to inflate and deflate your BCD (Buoyancy Control Device),
followed by some free time to play underwater.
If you are planning to do the optional ocean dive, then you will also need to learn and practice how to clear any
water out of your mask in the event that it leaks;
how to recover and clear your regulator that you are breathing from,
in case it is accidentally dislodged from your mouth;
and how to equalize your ears to take into account the increased water pressure as you descend underwater.
Once you are comfortable in the water with your scuba gear and the skills you have learned, you will have the chance to venture out into the ocean and submerge to see the local marine life!
We may take you on a dive to a maximum depth of 12 meters (40 feet), as you feel comfortable.
Russel and Rose will be by your side from start to finish.
